For Outdoor Workers
Solace is a non-profit organization based in sunny California, started by high-school student Andra Campos. Solace is dedicated to promoting sun safety, especially for outdoor workers. We raise awareness about sun protection and provide education and resources to prevent skin damage. We have opened chapters at schools to raise donations for sunscreen and target outdoor workers, students, and the general public interested in sun safety.
Our Mission
At Solace, we are dedicated to promoting sun safety for outdoor workers. We provide education and resources to prevent skin damage and raise awareness about sun protection. Our goal is to make a lasting impact in the community and beyond.
We Engage in our Community By:
-Providing sunscreen to students before they go to their Physical Education class
-Using our donations to give back to unions for outdoor workers such as: local construction workers
-Getting involved in research and providing education about this research on the impact of UV rays to others!
-Distrubuting our informational content to places such as hospitals.
